With brilliant simplicity in mind Barclaycard created something which many journalists said they couldn’t believe wasn’t already in existence: the world’s first contactless beer tap. Using Barclaycard’s innovative technology to accept and process contactless payments, we developed a solution to help bars and pubs reduce queuing time for customers - allowing drinkers to order, pay and pour a pint in just 60 seconds. The campaign generated a reach of 1.4 billion globally, and drove unprecedented commercial consideration through a surge in inbound business to Barclaycard in the week that followed the launch.
