Product of the Year is the UK’s largest independent survey for product innovation. More than 10,000 consumers vote each year in a survey conducted by independent research company Kantar – helping shoppers overcome the tyranny of choice on the supermarket shelves and a proven marketing tool to help your product launch get recognized. Winning manufacturers can take heart that 86% of consumers are more likely to buy a product featuring the Product of the Year logo.
Research from Kantar shows that winners from Product of the Year achieved an average of £9.2m in sales in the 12-month time period, against an average new product of £1m after one year of being launched.
The initiative has been running in the UK for over 15 years with the success of the scheme being launched globally in over 40 countries, including USA, Canada, Australia & New Zealand, India, South Africa, China and European and South American countries. Winning manufacturers span global brand names including Procter & Gamble, Coca Cola, RB, Unilever, Asda, Tesco, PepsiCo, Nestlé, Kimberley Clark and Mars.
