Lalu Dasgupta

Lalu is a strategic communications leader with over 25 years' experience of devising integrated global campaigns. He began his career working in agency first at Burson-Marstellar and later Hill+Knowlton Strategies, where he built deep expertise in leading complex cross-border, issues rich campaigns for MNCs and governments. In 2017, he moved in-house to HSBC where until the end of 2022 he was Head of Communications, Trade, and was responsible for driving Group-wide opinion leadership on the topic as well as all internal and external communications for the bank's trade finance business. He is currently an independent consultant providing international clients with strategic and reputational communications advice.
