Detecting bowel cancer at the earliest stage makes you up to nine times more likely to be successfully treated. But one in three people in England do not return their NHS bowel cancer screening kits. To encourage more people to complete the test, Freuds+ developed an impactful PR campaign for NHS England with ex-Ground Force hosts Alan Titchmarsh and Tommy Walsh, who came together in a powerful new film about how “your next poo could save your life”. The campaign tackled the myths and misconceptions around bowel screening and achieved significant results upon launch, with over 1,400 coverage hits.
