We leveraged Halloween to bring the dangers of real financial scams to life and make this taboo topic truly engaging.

Using genuine customer case studies, we created a trilogy of horror stories titled Scammer House of Horrors – complete with original illustrations and available to download free via the NatWest website. Acclaimed thespian Simon Callow performed a spooky fireside reading and supercharged the campaign which achieved 318m earned media reach and a 30% increase in traffic to NatWest’s fraud info page. Plus, the stories were even used as educational tools for 50 regional organised crime units.
