"The Forthlin Sessions" - getting music back to the birthplace of the Beatles

SHOOK

Client: The National Trust

20 Forthlin Road is an ordinary house, in an ordinary street. What happened there changed the world. From its tiny front room, the Beatles began. The house is now cared for by the National Trust, returned to when the McCartneys lived there. The walls buzz with creativity.

In a year of Beatles milestones, “The Forthlin Sessions” saw unsigned acts chosen to visit, write and perform there, creating songs inspired by the house’s legacy. Our integrated campaign underpinned the Trust’s focus on caring for ‘history for everyone’, using creative craft and content graft to truly prove a hit with the public.
