Sian Trew

Sian is a chartered PR practitioner with experience across the public, private and voluntary sectors. She currently works as Director of Communications for the AHSN Network, which operates as the innovation arm of the NHS in England. Prior to this, Sian spent 10 years working in senior communications roles in different parts of the NHS – including leading a local NHS communications response during the coronavirus pandemic. Sian trained and worked as a journalist before transferring to communications and started her PR career working in sports PR, working in press operations at major sporting events including the Paralympic Games, World Rowing Championships and the Boat Race. Outside of work – Sian is a non-executive director on the board of Hockey Wales and also sits on the CIPR Health Committee as treasurer.
