Brenda started her PR career in the B2B/B2C Tech industry before gaining further experience at Nelson Bostock, and later moving on into the world of Music, Entertainment & Culture. She transferred her love for PR and music into a her venture, co-founding her Music, Entertainment & Culture agency, MYBLAQBOOK in 2021, representing the likes of top clients including Shallipopi, Dankie Sounds, Blanco, Seyi Vibez, NSG, Odeal, music charity PRS Foundation and plenty more. Brenda has been named as a PR Week supported BME PR Pro mentee for 2020, PRovoke Media EMEA 25 Innovator for 2021, PR Week 30 Under 30: Newcomer for 2022, most recently selected for BOXPARK's Black & Brilliant list for 2023, alongside other cultural accolades. Aside from her career in PR, Brenda also runs Girls In Power, a platform dedicated to empowering the next generation of thought leaders and trailblazers across music & creative industries. Over the years, the brand has seen support from the likes of AWAL, Sony Music UK, Hennessy, Barclays UK, BMI and more.
