Stamp Out The Gap

SHOOK

Adults with Cerebral Palsy don’t get joined-up healthcare like people with other lifelong health conditions. NICE guidelines recommending care parity were published three years ago. They still haven’t been adopted. Sounds like it should be illegal? It’s not. People with CP are treated like second class citizens. SHOOK made the issue unavoidable. We created a special edition set of second class [citizen] stamps featuring six celebrities with CP. The world’s smallest petition – on the back of a stamp. The campaign got the Disability Minister to listen, showing the power of creative campaigning to get to the people in power.
