Boots and Macmillan, with Ogilvy, tackled a hidden crisis: early menopause caused by cancer. Affecting an estimated 60,000 women who experienced hormone-related side-effects of cancer treatment such as early menopause*, the 'Journeys through Cancer and Menopause' campaign made the invisible, visible.

The campaign raised awareness of the specialist support available from Boots pharmacists and beauty advisors, featuring talent, case studies and expert voices. It sparked a national conversation resulting in awareness of early menopause doubling, with a surge in people seeking support at Boots. The campaign put early menopause firmly on the map and gave women the support they needed.
