Taylor Herring
2025 was the most successful and most high-stakes year in Taylor Herring’s history. At the start of the year, founders Cath Taylor and James Herring announced they would step down after nearly 25 years, with a formal departure set for October. In practice, however, both founders took an immediate step back from day-to-day decision-making, commercial strategy and operations, marking a defining moment in the agency’s history. With knowledge of the transition restricted to a small senior group, incoming CEO Sam Corry was effectively handed full opera tional responsibility overnight - tasked with leading the agency through one of the most sensitive periods in its history, without disrupting performance or confidence. The risks were high, but this would not be a year of holding pattern. Instead, the agency used this moment as a catalyst for transformation delivering its strongest commercial performance to date while simultaneously reinventing its operations, offer and future direction.
