Ondine Whittington

I have over 20 years experience working in communications both in agency and in the third sector. This has predominantly been in the healthcare space developing campaigns for global and UK markets in corporate reputation, consumer engagement, pharma communications and social purpose for some of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies, including, GSK, AstraZeneca, Roche and Novartis. I have been Managing Director of Virgo Health since 2014 and became Group Managing Director taking on additional responsibility for its parent company Golin in 2020. During my time in these roles, I have taken both agencies through significant periods of transformation spearheading major strategic shifts in the business model to deliver enhanced offers and services, while launching new initiatives to improve mental health and wellbeing, create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive culture and set a new hybrid future of work model. Not one to brag about awards, but I was pretty chuffed with Virgo recently taking home Best Agency of the Year at the 2021 PR week healthcare agency of the year awards.
