Client: Aldi
In autumn of 2024, the Gallaghers revealed to the world they were touring together after 15 long years apart. It was obvious to everyone (and every brand) that this would be THE cultural moment of the year. When an opportunity like that lands in your lap, well, you’ve got to roll with it... And that’s just what we did with Aldeh – a culture-jacking, Brit Pop-celebrating rebrand of the closest store to Manchester’s Heaton Park – the iconic location for the band’s valiant return. The supersonic installation generated over 1,000 media articles across print, online, broadcast and social; it stirred up a petition amongst locals to make it a permanent fixture, gained over 10 million views on social and even garnered a cheeky repost from Liam Gallagher himself. Aldeh was crowned king of the Retail Times ‘Swagger Index’, which analysed social posts and media coverage from Oasis’ reunion announcement in August 2024 through to the final Wembley gigs in September 2025. Brands were ranked out of 100 based on a combination of Cultural Swagger (how much a brand featured in Oasis-linked conversation) and Emotional Swagger (how fans reacted through engagement and sentiment).
