Chomp
If this category rewards genuine challenge met with genuine resourcefulness, then Chomp’s story starts here: launching a new agency into an industry on its knees - deliberately. Run by two under-35s, and while part of the wider W Group, Chomp doesn’t receive a free dinner ticket when it comes to finances. Built without a safety net, it was conceived as a direct response to a broken moment in hospitality – one where marketing needed to stop chasing at times meaningless attention and start delivering demand. Chomp was designed from day one as a growth business, not a legacy press shop: commercially minded, digitally native, and unapologetically accountable. The response has been immediate and emphatic. Since stepping up to the pass in April 2025, Chomp is now trusted by some of the most demanding names across the modern dining spectrum - from Michelin-starred Galvin Restaurants Group to hypey Highstreet slayers Wingstop (not for publication) through to growing independent Truffle Burger and purpose led The Clink. From a standing start, Chomp built a profitable growth business in record time, delivering £200k in its first phase while reinvesting into capability, talent and tooling. Within the first four months of launching, it had signed 8 new client wins and confirmed £65k of revenue. Alongside client delivery, it launched a think tank and editorial platform to confront wider industry challenges - using earned media not just to sell seats, but to argue for a more sustainable, commercially literate future for hospitality.
