Evri
2025 was a defining year for Evri’s in-house team; a moment that tested resilience, judgement and leadership in one of the UK’s most scrutinised sectors. Against a background of rapid growth, heightened reputational risk and a landmark merger with DHL eCommerce UK, a five-strong team delivered outstanding impact at national and global scale. Representing a billion-parcel-a-year global logistics business, the team successfully navigated intense media scrutiny while fundamentally reshaping Evri’s public narrative. Five years ago, over 70% of coverage was negative; by the end of 2025, that position had been decisively reversed, with 70% of coverage now positive, up 5% year on year, alongside the highest volume of press coverage its history. Operating as a hybrid, 24/7 press office, the team handled almost 500 inbound media enquiries at all hours. They proactively challenged misinformation and fake news, successfully shutting down 40% of negative stories through robust, data‑led rebuttals. In total, the team delivered more than 7,600 media hits, with over 13% in national titles, and secured Evri’s first global media coverage in China. Alongside high‑pressure reactive communications, the team delivered standout proactive campaigns. Highlights included the launch of the UK’s first robot delivery dog, generating over 300 pieces of coverage, and the launch of Evri Lockers, supported by a £50m investment announcement that secured more than 260 national, regional and trade hits. Through insight‑led storytelling and disciplined corporate communications, Evri’s in-house team has driven a lasting shift in trust, credibility and brand distinctiveness, setting a new benchmark for communications excellence.
