“Thinking back to my first weeks, the experience, confidence, ability and responsibility which I now have is a far cry from the intern I began as. This didn’t happen in a vacuum. I have earned this trust and responsibility through consistently delivering great work, no matter the brief, whether in my comfort zone of social and environmental issues, blooding myself with creative and strategic work, or proactively participating in projects important to me. Independently taking on the company's inaugural Impact Report just a few months into my career is, I think, proof of this.

Though my skills and experience have changed, my values haven’t. I'll hopefully continue my trajectory of professional growth, but I am certain my motivations will remain constant: at minimum, not contributing towards the social and environmental injustices that the industry is oftentimes complicit in, and where possible, creating as much positive impact as I can. If anything makes me deserving of an industry award like this, it is that I have, though junior and inexperienced, attempted to ensure that I hold myself to my own high standards, and ensured that the effort I put in translates to meaningful positive impact wherever possible.”
