Following a structural reorganisation, the Communications function has been reshaped since May 2022 to focus on delivering excellence in Communications in the rail industry. Sitting separately from the marketing team (which is unusual in many in house functions), the team takes an integrated approach to external and internal communications, press office, issues management, stakeholder engagement and public affairs. Our work is focused on three strategic pillars – to inspire, discover and inform. Together, these three pillars play a powerful role in helping LNER achieve its vision: To be the most loved, progressive and responsible way to travel, for generations to come.
