Since entering PR in 2016, I’ve valued PR Week as the pinnacle voice for the entire industry and winning an award of this stature would be a true career highlight. I like to champion the underdog, and when I took my very first internship ten years ago, I vowed to not let my lack of university degree be a hinderance, but a motivator to graft, learn and grow from firsthand experience. I hope to show my junior peers what can be achieved when they do all they possibly can to push themselves. I’m proud of my trajectory to date, but my ambitions for the future drives an unwavering hunger to continue that growth across every aspect of PR and leadership. The power of PR is not lost on me. I appreciate our responsibility as professionals to not only wow our clients, but to make a meaningful difference in the world, be it shaping perceptions or educating audiences. I recognise how fortunate I am to have gained a wealth of experience at my age across several sectors, and I’m setting my sights on maximising my career potential in years to come. Winning this award would be a huge step for me.
