Oli Bradley & Nick Braund
Words+Pixels
Two leaders who had never met built one of the fastest-growing agencies in Europe on a shared conviction: that the industry was getting it wrong, and there was a better way. Five consecutive years of growth proved the model worked. But in 2025, Nick and Oli made a more challenging leadership decision. Not to push harder, but to stop and return to the values that had connected them in the first place, operationalise them properly, and rebuild the agency around them. That meant restructuring leadership, redistributing ownership, challenging behaviours, walking away from £300,000 in revenue, and accepting that some people who had been part of the first five years might not be part of the next five. The results followed. A sixth consecutive year of growth. £3.3M in revenue, 30% up year on year. The FT named Words+Pixels the fastest-growing earned media agency in Europe, for the second year running. The most creatively ambitious work in the agency's history. Zero redundancies. Growth is easy to celebrate in hindsight. The hardest lesson in leadership is deciding what change before the numbers force you to.
