Rebranding Aldi

Taylor Herring

Client: Aldi

Aldi sells groceries, but in 2025 it did something more unusual - it became part of culture. With Taylor Herring, Aldi turned two simple retail touchpoints - a store sign and a rooftop - into national cultural talking points. ‘Aldeh’ captured a defining Manchester moment around the Oasis reunion, while ‘Cap-Aldi’ transformed a Nottingham store into an unexpected live performance space with Lewis Capaldi. Both activations were deliberately simple, but strategically precise. Together they drove sustained national conversation, outperforming major supermarket rivals in share of voice, generating millions of impressions, and delivering measurable commercial uplift in-store. More importantly, they showed how quickly cultural relevance could translate into commercial and media success.
