As the sports and entertainment world came to a halt with leagues and shows postponing games, programming and events due to the COVID-19 outbreak, WWE strategically transformed its business model in order to continue to create content and provide our fans with a diversion during this unprecedented time.
With a longstanding history of producing the greatest live spectacles in sports and entertainment, WWE created WWE ThunderDome to provide our fans with an immersive experience so they can participate and enjoy WWE programming from the comfort of their home, interact and cheer on our larger-than-life Superstars and still be part of the live event experience WWE is renowned for.
WWE ThunderDome features a state-of-the-art set, video boards, pyrotechnics, lasers, cutting-edge graphics and drone cameras to provide viewers with a reimagined live event spectacle. Additionally, in partnership with The Famous Group, a full-service fan experience company, WWE virtually brought fans back into the arena via live video on massive LED boards for every Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown and pay-per-view event. The creation of WWE ThunderDome has delivered excitement and has further solidified WWE as a groundbreaking organization and visionary leader in technology, live event and production capabilities.
